Yes, we rather call it a meetup, not a conference. Conferences are fine, but the massive program and the great number of attendees usually do not allow to have a real discussion. So we made up this meetup and reserved a whole day to discuss things like usability, analytics and conversion optimization. This will be the third meetup, the first one took place in March 2013 at The Spot and the second one in October 2013 at the
design factory

Who should attend?
This event is a great opportunity to share and gain some knowledge for everyone who is involved in creating and optimizing online and software products. The audience usually consists of UX specialists, online marketers, mid-top management, developers, graphic designers, product managers and entrepreneurs.

Why the entrance fee?
We will discuss commercial matters, but this event is not commercial at all. We need the entrance fee and the help of our sponsors to cover all the costs related to the event, like the rent of the meetup's place, the lunch and refreshment for all the attendees, accomodation and travel costs for the speakers etc.

"Prečo to nie je po slovensky?" / "Why is it not in Slovak?"
In our branch English language is in an every day use, so we believe it is not a problem for most of the professionals to attend an English event. On the other hand this allows us to make the meetup "more international" and to meet online and software professionals also from abroad. However, in the coffee breaks feel free to use the language you want 🙂
